A relaxed 45-minute session at your place or a favourite local park, anywhere in Wyndham. One flat price, $350, with 30+ edited photos and a full print release. You bring the cake and the birthday kid. I'll handle the rest.
Forty-five minutes of gentle chaos, in this order: family and sibling photos first while everyone is clean, then the birthday portraits, then the cake, then the glorious mess. That's a toddler's attention span, exactly, and it's all we need.
There's no studio and no posing chart. We shoot at your home or a park nearby, wherever your one-year-old is most themselves. I don't ask babies to smile; I wait, and the smiles turn up on their own schedule. If they cry for a bit, that's fine too. Those photos end up being weirdly precious by their eighteenth.

You bring a cake from any bakery you like, or bake one. I bring a drop sheet and zero expectations for cleanliness. Baby goes in front of cake, and nature does the rest. Some kids demolish it, some poke it suspiciously for ten minutes. Both make great photos.
A few tips from experience: buttercream beats fondant, because little hands can actually get into it. A highchair or a plain blanket both work. Keep a warm flannel and a spare outfit within reach. That's the whole checklist.

$350 flat at Confetti & Frame. That covers a 45-minute session anywhere in Wyndham, 30+ edited photos and a full print release. A $100 booking fee locks in your date and comes straight off the balance. No travel fees in Point Cook, Werribee, Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, Williams Landing or Wyndham Vale, and no surprise extras.
If the plan is a hall, catering and every relative you have, you want function coverage rather than a mini session. I photograph first-birthday functions by the hour, from $150 with a two-hour minimum. See cultural celebrations & functions
Straight after their best nap, with a full tummy. For most one-year-olds that means mid-morning. If we’re outdoors, morning light is lovely and gentle too, but a happy baby beats perfect light every single time, so we plan around the nap, not the sun.
Comfortable clothes you already love, in soft colours that go together without matching exactly. Skip big logos. For the birthday kid, one cute outfit for portraits and one you don’t mind sacrificing to the cake. Bare feet are always a good look at one.
Yes. Warm-up time is built into every session. I start at a friendly distance with you in the frame, and by the time the cake appears I’m usually old news. A cuddly, clingy session photographs beautifully too; those end up being some of my favourite galleries.
Not at all. Plenty of families keep it to portraits, playtime and family photos, and some swap the cake for fruit or a giant doughnut. It’s your session. The only fixed part is that we photograph your kid as they actually are at one.
This is Melbourne, so it might do all four seasons before the cake. Outdoor sessions rebook free, no penalty and no guilt trip. Or we move it into your living room, which is where half the best first birthday photos happen anyway.
Yes, please. We do the family and sibling photos at the start, while everyone is clean and the birthday kid is fresh. Grandparents are very welcome; a one-year-old laughing at their nanna is a guaranteed keeper.
Tell me the date, or even just the rough plan, and I'll reply within 24 hours.
