What happens at a family photoshoot?
An hour, roughly in this order: the one proper group shot first while everyone is still cooperating, then the pairs, then the part where I stop directing and let your family get on with it. That last stretch is where the photos you actually print come from.
There is no studio and no posing chart. We meet at your place or a spot you already go to, and I stay out of the way more than you would expect. I do not ask children to say cheese. I wait, and something better turns up.
Where do we shoot?
Your home, your backyard, or an outdoor spot that means something to you. Point Cook Coastal Park, Werribee Park and the Werribee River trail all work beautifully, and so does the playground you walk to every Saturday.
Home sessions suit newborns, small kids and anyone who would rather not perform in public. Parks and beaches suit families with runners in them. Tell me which sounds less stressful and we will go with that.

$425 at Confetti & Frame. That covers a one-hour session, 35+ edited photos, a full print release and travel anywhere in Wyndham. A $100 booking fee holds your date and comes off the balance. No per-image fees and no print packages to buy afterwards. Compare all packages and prices.
Do you travel across Melbourne?
Yes. Travel is included across Point Cook, Werribee, Tarneit, Hoppers Crossing, Williams Landing and Wyndham Vale. Beyond that it is $50 up to 40km from Point Cook, $100 from 40 to 55km and $150 from 55 to 80km, which covers most of Melbourne. Anywhere further and I will quote before you book.

Family photoshoot questions, answered
Clothes you already own and already like, in soft colours that sit together without matching. Skip big logos and tight patterns. Cream, sage, dusty blue and warm neutrals all photograph well against parks and backyards. One tip that saves a lot of stress: pick the hardest person to dress first, then build everyone else around them.
No, and I would rather they did not. The photos people keep are the ones where their kids look like their kids. We walk, we play, we let them run off and come back. I take the posed group shot early while the goodwill lasts, then spend the rest of the hour letting everyone be themselves.
The hour before sunset for outdoors, and mid-morning if we are at your place. With babies and toddlers in the mix, a good nap beats good light, so tell me their schedule and we will build the session around it.
Yes. The price covers up to six of you. Bigger group than that, just ask when you enquire and I will confirm it before you book. Multi-generation sessions are worth doing while everyone is still in the same city.
Yes, at your place, in your own light. No props, no baskets, no posed studio setups. Newborn sessions run at the same hour and the same price, and older siblings are part of it rather than sent out of the room.
Outdoor sessions reschedule free, with no penalty. Or we move indoors to your living room, which is where a lot of the warmest family photos come from anyway.
